The Uniqueness of Using Leopard Print Chair
Ubiquitous leopard and cheetah and zebra skin patterns or models, decorate the rich, the poor, and everything else.
I tend to tire easily of trends, in particular cliché, the most used. For some reason, I never have enough of it. And I’m not alone. In fact, I’m going to upholster this in a tiny faux leopard print chair, no chance I get, and know he will bring vibrant life to an old “blah” room.
Believing in myself as a kind of environmentalist, or at least an animal lover, the thought of a real leopard skin being used in garments and interiors is abhorrent. As a child, the sight of “The Pink Panther” of Claudia Cardinale wallowing in drunkenness on a tiger skin made me sad. The humor for the stage was overshadowed by the poor creature who was deceased in the ear of the asshole Cardinale coyly whispered. Such beauty destroyed just to turn into a costly ornament floor is unthinkable today, but quite acceptable in 1967. I prefer to see leopards in the wild, alive and free.
The appeal of animal skins may be rooted in our primitive past, but for most of us these days; the rule is that the celebrations take place via textiles.
Animal skins are used throughout the world. I recently spent a saddle faux leopard-pack on a Harley parked outside the bank, and shortly after, I got fascinated by a very extravagant Roman house in an article on the photo great couturier, Valentino, in which the overall area of the room has been covered in fake leopard skin. I was really grateful that there was no skin “real” leopard.
Hundreds of fabrics are available, printed and woven designs, thick “ruggy” jacquard, printed Faults and velvet, silk, cotton, wool – sequins, embroidery, polyurethaned – you name it. It’s the trend that will really far. It may disappear temporarily, but returned shortly afterwards to enjoy yet another incarnation, and it will delight a new generation of consumers. Aside from leopard print chair, does leopard print wallpaper will stay around us? Absolutely yes!
There is something about these leopard print chairs and leopard print wallpaper. So bring on leopard print office chair, leopard print accent chair, and leopard print shoe chair. Real leopards in the wild screen printing inspire leopard, leopard patterned jeans, shoes and handbags in leopard print, and leopard jacquard woven pillows for your leopard print chair.
Maybe someday we’ll all have had enough of these furry friends spotted, but I sincerely doubt that day will come soon.
